Registration Fees

Registration fees are listed below. All fees are quoted in CAD. Early Bird rates are available until Monday, May 1, 2017. Registration fees are determined by when payment is received and not by the date of registration.

Student rates are available to anyone enrolled full time in a residency program and/or post-secondary education. Proof, consisting of a copy of your identification card or a letter from the institution's registrar confirming residency status and/or enrollment, is required to confirm this rate. The details are required to be uploaded during the registration process.
Daily registration: For the day chosen (Monday or Tuesday), the daily registration fee includes plenary and breakout sessions, access to the exhibit and poster hall, and lunch on the day of registration. Attendance on Tuesday doesn’t include the Tuesday Gala Dinner. Attendance at the Welcome Reception is included in the Daily registration fee. Tickets to the Gala Dinner can be purchased during the on-line registration process.
Accompanying person registration includes a half-day Vancouver sightseeing tour and attendance at the Monday Cocktail Reception.

Payment, Confirmation and Receipt

All payments are due in Canadian Dollars (CAD) Registration fees are determined by when payment is received. Pre-registrants who pay their registration fee after Monday, May 1, 2017 will be charged the regular registration fees. The on-site registration fee will apply onsite for any unpaid pre-registrations.

A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you register. If you submit payment by credit card, a receipt will be emailed. If you are paying by cheque or wire transfer, an invoice will be sent to you, followed by a receipt once payment is received.

Methods of Payment
Wire Transfer (applicable prior to the Congress)
All wire transfers are payable to “Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc.”, are due in Canadian dollars. On the wire transfer, please note “PAQS 2017” and the name of the registrant(s) as a reference. Wire transfer information will be included on the invoice sent upon completion of your registration to the email address provided.
Credit Card – American Express, Mastercard and Visa
If paying by credit card, “Sea to Sky Meeting Management Ltd.” will appear as the vendor on your credit card statement.

Registration fees are determined by when payment is received. The registration deadlines are as follows:

Cancellation, Refund and Substitution Policy

Refunds are available until Monday, May 1, 2017 and are subject to a cancellation administrative fee of $100 CAD per person. As of Tuesday, May 2, 2017 no refunds will be provided, however substitutions can be made until Monday, July 17, 2017. Substitutions must be made at an equal or lesser registration category. No refunds will be issued for substitutions.

Entry Visa Requirements and Letter of Invitation

The Canadian Government requires entry visas for many of its visitors, whether on business or for tourism. Starting in March 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to Canada require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). To confirm if you require a travel visa to enter Canada or an eTA, visit the Citizen and Immigration Canada website.

Should you need an entry visa, please contact the Canadian Visa Office in your region or a passport/visa service to obtain one. Please allow at least three months for processing time, which will vary from country to country.

Letter of Invitation
If you require a travel visa to attend the Conference, please download the letter of invitation and the Canadian Border Services Agency Letter of Recognition. Save the letter of invitation on your computer and fill in the existing form fields with your personal information. You can then save and print the document. For those travelling from outside of Canada, print a hard copy of the letters and keep them with you when entering Canada.

Participation in PAQS 2017 is at your own risk. Please make your own health and travel insurance arrangements.
